3S - School-Support-Service for Hamburg Schools

Recently more and more schools have been equipped with multimedia computers. Currently, Hamburg schools use about 15000 computers for educative purposes. This development has increased the necessity of administrative support for the learning networks. Many teachers cannot live up to these requirements any longer. As a consequence,  School Support Service was launched, a cooperation between HITeC and the Board for Education and Sport.

Currently more than 150 schools receive adminstrative support from 29 students employed by HITeC.

• University of Hamburg
• College for applied sciences
