Information and Communication Technologies - Environmental Sustainability Research
Our very own Prof. Page is working on the EU-wide network ICT-ENSURE (Information and Communication Technologies - Environmental Sustainability Research), a project which is supported by the EU in the years 2009 and 2010 as part of the EU's central support action of the European "ICT for Environmental Sustainability“ research. Main goal of this EU support action is the expansion of the network of Ecological IT Research in Europe. Project coordinators are the Know Center in Graz, the International Society for Environmental Protection in Vienna and the FZ Karlsruhe. Main tasks are the conceptualisation of strategies for new research facilities and network communication.
