EAMT 08 - European Conference on Machine Translation

The annual meeting of the European Association for Machine Translation took place in Hamburg from 22 to 23 September 2008 and was organised by HITeC in cooperation with the Department of Informatics.

This was the twelfth consecutive meeting providing a forum for the exchange of ideas regarding all aspects of machine translation and computer aids as well as tools and instruments for translators.

The two invited speakers were Nicola Cancedda (Xerox Research Centre Europe, Grenoble) and Uwe Reinke (Institute for Multilingual Communication and Translation (ITMK), Köln), University of Applied Sciences.
