Biologically-Inspired Networks and Services
BIONETS is based on the idea that thousands of tiny devices will form a network, with a variety of purposes, complement our five senses and support our day-by-day life in the near future. BIONETS will build on research results and developments in pervasive computing. Services in BIONETS aim to be autonomous and self-modifying, in the spirit of Darwin's notion of the "survival of the fittest". BIONETS strives to produce a balance in communication, with every link being individual but part of a collective, following the paradigm of peer-to-peer communication.
