Adaptive User Interfaces for Mobile Devices in a Changing Environment

This project is financially supported by the shipping company owner Joachim von der Heydt („Bengal Tiger Line“ and „Transnaval Schifffahrtsgesellschaft“). Using a mobile phone as a test object, it analyzes how the user interface of mobile devices can be improved to enable it to automatically adapt to changing environmental ("contextual") conditions. The final goal is to make even complex functions easily accessible and usable.
