HITeC

HITeC is a registered non-profit association, established by members of the Department of Informatics at the University of Hamburg. The association is linked to the University of Hamburg by a cooperation treaty.

The key tasks of HITeC are:

• Performing application-oriented research projects
• Dissemination of application-oriented research results
• Conducting advanced education events
• Establishing contacts between companies and students
• Improving practice-oriented teaching
• Supporting spin-off companies

HITeC projects are organised in the following project areas:

• Software Engineering
• Organisational and Economical Information Technology
• Learning with New Media
• Logistics Simulation
• Individual Projects
